Referencing and Citing

Zotero is free, open source, reference management software. It manages bibliographic data and related research materials (such as PDFs), generates in-text citations, footnotes and bibliographies and can integrate with word processors such as Microsoft Word, LibreOffice, OpenOffice.org Writer and NeoOffice.

Note: Zotero v5.0 was released in July 2017 and the help information on this page is in the process of being updated.

Version 5.0 is only available as a "standalone" application and the Firefox plugin version is no longer supported. If you currently have the Firefox plugin version it is strongly recommended that you install v 5.0.
