Tools and tips

Chicago (Chicago Manual of Style) is a common referencing style used in the School of History, Philosophy, Political Science and International Relations. The most recent version is CMOS 17th edition, published in 2017.

Chicago referencing style has two systems. Chicago A, notes and bibliography system, is preferred for History courses. Check with your Faculty, School or Course Coordinator if you want to use a different system or style.
