Free and open publishing deals

The Library has signed up to new publishing deals with CSIRO Publishing, The Royal Society and the Geological Society.

The deals mean as a VUW author you can publish open access for free in any journals covered by each deal. Your manuscript would be submitted to the publisher’s usual process, with no limit on the number of articles you can submit.

This is one way the Library supports researchers to make their research openly available. All the deals comply with the Open Access Policy and these are the first of more deals to come this year.

Manuscripts must be submitted and accepted for publication in 2021 to qualify. The deals are active now, so any manuscripts already submitted will qualify.
