Statistics resources

Welcome to your guide to finding statistical resources. Use the Ask a Librarian service if you need to get in touch.

Learn how to use statistics

SAGE Research Methods Datasets allows you to choose from over 150 datasets using data from real research. This resource is designed to support the teaching and independent learning of data analysis techniques.

Resources for undergraduates

The following resources are useful for assignment work and research. You can also use the Te Waharoa search tool to find textbooks and journal articles on using statistics. For help on using Te Waharoa, see the video tutorials on the left.

Resources for researchers and teaching staff

The following resources are available for research and teaching purposes. Customised Data Sets are also available upon request, and are a way for researchers to gain access to data held by Statistics NZ that are not easily accessible by other means.

If you would like to find out more about their use, please use the 'Ask a Librarian' service on the right.
